Whistleblowing

Reporting of offences and irregularities

‘Whistleblowing’ (hereinafter also ‘Reporting’) means any information regarding suspected conduct that does not comply with the Rummo SpA Code of Ethics and the 231 Organisational Model adopted by the company, the internal procedures and the external regulations applicable to Rummo SpA

In compliance with Italian Law 179/2017 ‘Provisions for the protection of the authors of reports of offences or irregularities of which they have become aware in the context of a public or private employment relationship‘ and of Italian Legislative Decree no. 24 of 10 March 2023 (implementing EU Directive 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019), Rummo SpA has adopted a whistleblowing policy procedure for managing reports and the actions envisaged to protect people who report illicit acts and irregularities.

The Whistleblowing system is the tool that protects people who report non-compliance in good faith. This tool seeks to prevent the occurrence of irregularities within the organisation and also to involve all stakeholders in the fight against non-compliance through active and responsible participation.

Why report

Because it is a right and a duty to protect our work, our company, colleagues, customers and contractors. By adopting this tool, we aim to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities or irregularities within the organisation, and to involve all stakeholders and the general public in an activity to combat illegality through active and responsible participation.

Who can report

Recipients of the Whistleblowing Policy (hereinafter ‘Recipients’ and/or ‘Whistleblowers’) are:

  • The members of the corporate bodies, the employees of Rummo SpA;
  • Customers, suppliers, partners, consultants and, more generally, the stakeholders of Rummo SpA.

What to report

Alleged violations committed by internal staff, contractors and business partners concerning the following aspects:

  • Violation of laws and regulations
  • Administrative offences
  • Offences falling within the scope of European Union or national legislation
  • Fraud
  • Human rights
  • Violation of the Code of Ethics
  • Violation of the Organisation and Management Model pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001
  • Other violations

As there is no exhaustive list of offences or irregularities that can be reported, reports of conduct, offences or irregularities to the detriment of Rummo Spa are also considered relevant.

Attention!

If you are a RUMMO SpA customer and want to report problems of another nature (commercial, technical, etc.), DO NOT use this form. Instead, consult one of the channels listed in the contact section.

Protection of the whistleblower

Rummo SpA undertakes to protect people who have made a report in good faith from any intimidation and retaliation. The report is managed confidentially, and the whistleblower’s identity, should they declare it, is not revealed without their consent. A well-made, substantiated and detailed report can be managed without the reporter’s further involvement. In any case, the information will be processed according to confidentiality criteria.

Protection of the reported party

During the internal verification process of the report, every right of the reported person will be guaranteed. In no case will a proceeding be initiated without concrete evidence regarding the report’s content.
